THE PROBLEM

Carbon dioxide emissions from plastic production contribute 850 million tons of CO₂ annually. These emissions directly impact climate change, increasing the frequency of extreme weather and disrupting ecosystems. To combat climate change, tax incentives encourage reducing industrial CO₂ emissions; however, industry needs a method to repurpose CO₂ to solve the climate crisis.  


RenewCO₂ uses our Electrocatalytic Carbon Utilization Technology (eCUT) to reduce carbon dioxide to monomers that can be used in existing industrial chemical processes. Using just water and electricity, the eCUT cost effectively converts CO₂ to monomers using our patented catalyst with high selectivity. These monomers can then be used for industrial processes to create carbon negative products.
