Our Process

Using our patented catalyst, our scientists and engineers are currently optimizing the eCUT process. We are bringing this process up to scale, focusing on monoethylene glycol (MEG) as our beachhead product using waste CO₂ emitted by the petrochemical MEG process using RenewCO2’s eCUT-MEG process. Once this process is industrially implemented, we will expand to other organic monomers and other carbon dioxide sources, like flue gas and direct air capture.

Our mission is to supply the chemical industry with innovative technologies for sustainable monomer and chemical production from CO₂ and develop highly scalable production modules based on our proprietary catalyst design. 

Our Vision

With RenewCO₂’s eCUT process, producing chemicals will become delocalized which in turn will simplify supply chains. This low-cost solution for dealing with carbon emissions creates the opportunity to produce monomers wherever there is electricity available. These monomers can then be used for polymers to manufacture carbon-negative products.
